Benefit Dinner for Chris Shann

Benefit Dinner for Chris Shann and his family June 26 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Bruce Township Hall.

Homemade Sloppy Joes, chips, pasta salad for $5. Selection of desserts by donation with a raffle.

Chris had been battling lymphoma for the last two years. He has been having many ups and downs and needs lots of prayers. He is a 26-year-old young man who has a heart of gold, great sense of humor and for the most part a positive attitude even during the tough days. He is a tribal member. He and his family have been having more tough days than good and spending most of their time in Lansing getting treatment. His cancer has now returned on his eye nerves and brain—not only has this cancer paralyzed him but now he is blind in the left eye. At this time, we are asking for everyone’s help to support this family in need.
