The Haunted Barn opens Oct. 9‑10, 7-10 p.m. at the Stalwart Fairgrounds. Take M-29, turn east onto M-48, then it's eight miles to the fairgrounds. Cost is $5 for adults, $3 for children 12 and under. Sponsored by JC Penney and the Stalwart Fair Board to benefit the United Way.
