The Michigan Indian Elders Association (MIEA) has released the applications for this year’s Scholarship Program. The scholarship program has (4) $1,000 scholarships and (6) $500 scholarships. Each student must be currently enrolled in a course of study at, or have a letter of acceptance from, a public college or university or technical school and must meet all qualifications. The program is open to ALL tribal students from one of the MIEA constituent Tribes/Bands, regardless of location.

To apply and for the full list of qualifications, applications can be found at MichiganIndianElders.org under the “Students” section. Applications and supporting documentation must be postmarked no later than June 15, 2017.

Please note: This is not a Sault Tribe program. All applications must be sent to the address indicated on the application forms.
